Desk Correspondent, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 25th June 2020 : The riveting 14-day e-Summer Camp of SAI International Education Group, Bhubaneswar came to a scintillating closure. The glorious journey concluded on a high note with the Family Time morning activity and a superb dance performance at the evening Entertainment Expert Session by the Prince Dance Group, the winners of India’s Got Talent.
While the entire world is caught in the jinx of restriction, SAI International has unleashed a plethora of fountains springing life in newer dimensions to engulf students and parents in boundless joy through a unique e-Summer Camp. It wore fruition by enlightening, entertaining, engaging, stimulating and invigorating all the students, parents, guests and teachers as well as inculcating the vital 21st century learning skills in the students. The gamut of activities conducted, the meaningful, motivational and entertaining expert sessions, the engaging and constructive learning experience, not only held everyone spellbound but also became intertwined with the lives of each stakeholder of SAI International, while they stayed in the safe cocoons of their homes. The 14-day online camping experience brought forth an abundance of joy, wisdom and a spirit of positivity, during this calamitous time.
The first of its kind e-Summer Camp saw active participation by more than 4000 students across Play Group to Class XII from SAI International School, SAI Angan and SAI International Residential School, through more than 40 different carefully designed age-appropriate activities. From Photography, Videography, Video Editing, Mix Media, Animation and Photo Editing to Yoga, Aerobics, Zumba and Dance to honing their creativity with Clay Modelling, Origami, Paper Collage, Sand Art, Sculpture and Pot Painting. Students also had sessions on Drama, Role Play and Puppetry as well as Music to refine their aesthetic sense. There were sessions on Robotics, Coding, Master Chef, Storytelling along with Communication Skills, Table Etiquettes, Dress-up, Soft Skills and Life Skills. Sessions were also held on Poetry Reading, Creative Writing and Write a Book as well as on Health & Wellness, Sports & Fitness and on Skin & Hair Care, to keep reminding our students about the importance of health and wellbeing. Sessions on Magic Show, Best out of Waste and basics of Spanish was held among others.
SAI International family is incredibly fortunate to be part of the brilliant Expert Sessions inaugurated by Spiritual Thinker, Writer and Philanthropist, Guruji Dr. C.B.Satpathy. Other eminent personalities who graced the sessions with their insights and enriching words are Founder Super 30 Shri Anand Kumar, the first Blade Runner of India and Kargil War hero Major D.P.Singh, Official Miss India Trainer, Leading Grooming and Etiquette Leader, Ms. Sabira Merchant, Pop Singer, Theatre Artist and Motivational Speaker, Ms. Sharon Prabhakar, Leading Motivational Speaker, Shri Akash Gautam, CEO Mumbai Dabbawala, Dr.Pawan Agarwal, popular Bollywood singer Shri Krishna Beura, Actor, VJ and Televison Presenter, Shri Kuna Tripathy and Leading stand-up Comedian, Shri Shankar and Team. The Expert Session also had International Guests from Taibah International School, Kampala, Uganda and Kirwan State High School, Townsville, Australia. On the concluding session of this inspiring e-Summer Camp, the Winner of India’s Got Talent, Prince Dance Group, set the stage ablaze during the Entertainment Expert Session.
SAI International as a team is painstakingly taking every step to provide a strong framework for successful learning, enabling children to align with the constantly changing world and adapt seamlessly to the New Normal. The camp which was initiated to instil the new millennium skills of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity and innovation during the most difficult time, successfully achieved its objective.
