Authentic Chinese Blu Orchid Restaurant new outlet now opened
News Correspondent, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 23rd Oct 2020 : Blu Orchid, so far a cloud kitchen for Chinese food, which has become a household name for foodies in a vast area of south east Kolkata, opened a full-fledged dine-in outlet near Gariahat, at 29/1 Panditiya Road.
Blu Orchid started its journey on December, 2017 with its first outlet at Ajaynagar, Santoshpur, Kolkata, that had home delivery and take away facility only. The new 700 sq.ft. outlet has 22 seats for dine in, that is arranged as per the guidelines of the WHO.
“We think the worst for the food & beverage industry is over. People have started to come back to the restaurants for snacks, lunch and dinner. They badly missed the ambiance. So, now is the time for our industry to try to become aggressive and bounce back, of course maintaining the proper guidelines of the WHO,” Mrs. Jayashri Chattaraj, Partner, Blu Orchid, said.
“We believe there is a shortage of quality Chinese restaurants in and around Gariahat and people here will definitely love the quality, quantity and reasonable pricing of our food. We don’t want people to miss the Durga Puja, the biggest festival of Kolkata, to taste the authentic Indo-Chinese food. People will get authentic Tangra style Indo-Chinese dishes at Blu Orchid.
