Sanjiban provides safe home at Narenrapur Ramakrishna Mission inaugurated by minister Partha Chatterjee in presence of Mla’s Firdousi and Lovely
Ambar Bhattacharya, Takmaa, Kolkata, 2nd Jun 2021: At a time when the entire nation struggles to cope with the horrific proportions taken by the second wave of Covid-19, a 125 bedded safe home has been inaugurated at the premises of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Narendrapur today. It was inaugurated at the Lokeswarananda Auditorium of the new building. The entire operation of the safe home will be managed by the Government of West Bengal and the infrastructural support has been extended by Fuleswar’s Sanjiban Hospital, other donors and NGOs too.
Sanjiban hospital has donated 50 beds, mattresses, PPEs, masks etc for the safe home as of now and planning to contribute more in near future.
Speaking on the occasion, Director, Sanjiban Hospital, Dr. Subhasis Mitra added “We have not only treated innumerable patients since last year but also performed our duty diligently during the on-going second wave too. Infrastructural support for the safe home of Narendrapur RKM is one of the ways we have been trying to lend our help and support in a possible way to combat the crisis.”
The 125 bedded safe home for Covid 19 patients has been inaugurated by Swami Subirananda (General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Mission) in presence of Dr. Partha Chatterjee (MIC), Swami Sarvolokananda (Secretary, Narendrapur RKM), Dr. Subhasis Mitra (Director , Sanjiban), Mrs. Lovely Moitra (MLA, Sonarpur Dakshin), Mrs. Firdousi Begam (MLA, Sonarpur Uttar), Smt. Kananbala Majumder of My Children Foundation, Dr. Pallab Das (Administrator, Rajpur Sonarpur Municipality), Dr. Somnath Mukherjee (CMOH, South 24 Pgs) at the premises of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Narendrapur Publicity : Candid Communication.
