“Uma Samman Award 2019” organised by F3 Incorp in association with Silk Mark Organisation of India
Ambarnath Bhattacharya, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 6th Sept 2019 : First time in Bengal Silk Mark Organisation of India, Ministry of Textile a Govt of India got involved with F3 Incorporation to organise “Uma Samman Award 2019”, a Sarad Samman on Theme Pujas.
Recently a press conference was held in presence of the guests like Dr. Arunjyoti Bhikkhu (monk of Tollygunj Buddhist Monestary), K K Chatterjee (Manager, Mrignayani), Tejas Gandhi (Fashion Designer), Abhishek Basu (Music Director), representative of Durbar Mahila Samanay Samity, Mallar Ghosh (Tabla player), Md. Ehteshamul Haque (Gen Sect WB Trinamool Congress, Minority Cell), Jhimli Mukherjee (Model), Pratyush Kr Ghosh (SGM, Kolkata Metro Railway), Sayandeb Chatterjee (Gen Sect, WB Trinamool Yubo Congress), Syed Sha Atif Ali Al Quaderi (35th descendant of Holy prophet of Islam), Rajarshi Das and many ors.
Rajarshi Das mentioned that this is the forth edition of Uma Samman Award. This Samman Award is different from the other as we believe in togetherness and wellness of all religion. Our Puja Samman is within greater Kolkata. Last year 315 clubs participated and trophies were awarded in 16 different categories. This year Durbar Mahila Samanay Committee is associated as Proud Partner. This year we have awards in category “Dubarer Chokhe Sera Pujo” and “Samata Bank Sera Pujo” in Salt Lake. The judging panel will comprise eminent personalities.
This year till now 230 clubs had submitted their forms and the first visit will start on 19th Sept and onward. Final judging will be on 2nd October and the winners will be handed over the award on 3rd Oct 2019. All the guests present wished the event success. Photography : Biswajit Saha.
