Under Godrej Professional’s Suraksha Salon Program with celebrities Ritabhari Chakraborty, Alivia Sarkar, and Geetashree Roy

To support the salon chains during these testing times and address concerns of the people, popular actresses such as Ritabhari Chakraborty, Alivia Sarkar, and Geetashree Roy visited Kolkata’s Head Turners salon and Colours Salon respectively. This visit was organised by Godrej Professional as part of Suraksha Salon program, aiming to support salons with safety and well-being of customers and staff along with facilitating smooth post-lockdown operations. The celebrities pampered themselves with a haircut and styling done at two outlets of Head Turners salon and Colours Salon respectively and were thoroughly impressed with the safety measures adopted.
As salons are allowed to resume functions beginning from June 8, they have to adhere to strict hygiene standards. To boost public confidence, it is important to showcase how salons have opened up with proper safety measures in place. As a part of the Godrej Professional Suraksha Salon program, Ritabhari Chakraborty, Alivia Sarkar, and Geetashree Roy experienced first-hand the hygiene measures at Head Turners salon located at Salt Lake City and Lake Garden area and Colours Salon – Middleton Row respectively. The Godrej Professional Suraksha Salon is assisting salons in Kolkata and many other cities get back to business by providing necessary guidance, resources, and updates to salon owners.
Commenting on her visit to Head Turners salon, popular film actress Ritabhari Chakraborty said, “As the nation was under a lockdown, grooming took a backseat owning to lack of professional assistance for hair care. I wanted to see how these safety protocols are implemented by salons on-ground and so I decided to personally visit Head Turners salon as part of Godrej Professional Suraksha Salon program. I am impressed with the thorough compliance to hygiene. I am convinced about safety with the measures incorporated and would encourage salons to dedicatedly follow the same in coming days.”
Speaking about the initiative, actress Alivia Sarkar said, “Salons have witnessed a difficult patch owing to the outbreak of the pandemic.
