Hope & Creativity an initiative by Engage India Foundation for senior citizens
Ambar Bhattacharya, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 15th Feb 2021 : Paving a way of hope for art and creativity during the turbulent times brought about by the ongoing pandemic coupled with being of service to the senior citizens, Macarav & Smart Life in association with Engage India Foudation is hosting an art exhibition named Hope & Creativity 2021 at the North and West Galleries of Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibition is a fund raiser and a part of the proceeds of the exhibition will be donated for he cause of senior citizens.
The Managing Trustee of Engage India Foundation Dr. Kakoli Sengupta said, We aim to be of assitive to the elderly, which is how the novel concept of hosting a fundraise exhibition was conceived by us. A part of the proceeds of the exhibition shall be donated for the cause of the senior citizens. Additionally, the exhibition also provided a platform to the artists for self expression during such arduous times.
The three days exhibition was conducted Dr. Kakaoli Sengupta and Piyali Sengupta. The exhibition was inaugurated by British Dy. High Commissioner of Kolkata Nick Low and his wife. The guest in chief were Pradip Tandon (CEO of Belle Vue Clinic), Swapan Banerjee (President of Bengal Olympic Association), Film Director Satrajit Sen, Partha Pratim deb, Partha Ranjan Das, Chatrapati Dutta, Atanu Basu, Enakshi Sengupta and many more.
