Bangla Interventional Therapeutics International Conference is completing a meaningful one decade
News Correspondent, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 8th Feb 2020 : Bangla Interventional Therapeutics (BIT) an International Conference is completing one decade, a meaningful glorious 10 years in 2020. The annual conference of Bangla Interventional Therapeutics (BIT) of 2020 was held at Kolkata from 31st January till 2nd February at Novotel Kolkata Hotel And Residences, at Action Area 1C, Newtown, Rajarhat. Over last 10 years our association with Transcatheter Therapeutics (TCT) has become very strong and so is our presence in the main TCT meeting in USA. This year American College of Cardiology and Europe group EURO PCR have joined us. This year updated topics on coronary interventions, complex high risk indicated procedures(CHIP), Peripheral vascular Interventions, Structural heart disease interventions, (TAVR, Mitra Clip), Device therapy in heart failure, bridge to heart transplantations, sudden cardiac arrest, leadless pacemaker, cardiovascular haemodynamics evaluation and other device assisted therapies will be discussed with eminent international Faculties. Theme of the conference is Innovation and Technology in Today’s Heart Care. Health Economics will also be discussed. In addition, there will be exciting topics on medical therapy of heart failure, aggressive lipid managements, hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, especially atrial fibrillation, Heart Failure and its modern treatment including heart transplantation will be discussed. ‘Diabetes and Heart Diseases’ is a very special highlight in 2020 especially its management issues. Similarly late breaking trials with special emphasis on newer concepts on antithrombotic – antiplatelet treatment in ischaemic heart diseases will be an important highlight.
