Ambar Bhattacharya, Takmaa News, Kolkata, 1st Jul 2023 : On the occasion of National Doctor’s Day, which is also widely celebrated as birthday of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, renowned physician and second Chief Minister of West Bengal a mega blood donation camp was organised by LG Electronics India, a leading consumer durable brand in the country at Dr. B. C. Roy Polyclinic Kolkata. This initiative is a part of ongoing nationwide Blood Donation Drive. The event marked a significant milestone in LG Electronics’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at making a positive impact on society.
Under the core theme of “LIFE’S GOOD WHEN LIFE’S SHARED,” LG Electronics India plans to commemorate its 26 years of successful operations in India by executing meaningful interventions. Through the nationwide mega Blood Donation Drive, LG Electronics India aims to amplify awareness regarding the vital importance of blood donation and motivate individuals to actively engage in this noble initiative.
Doctor’s of Dr. B. C. Roy Polyclinic extended their gratitude to LG Electronics for undertaking such noble cause nationally. People from all section of the society came forward to donate blood. More than 100 people donated their blood.
