George Telegraph Film & Television Institute, is proud to be the ‘Film Education Partner’ for the Srijit Mukherji directed film ‘Feluda Pherot’.
Ambar Bhattacharya, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 19th Jan 2021 : The team of ‘Feluda Pherot’ recently visited the campus of GTFTI in the presence of Managing Director, George Telegraph Group and Ms Tuhinaa Pandey, Joint Director, GTFTI, to interact with the first batch of students.
The Institute, inaugurated last year, vows to train the aspiring students to become one of the finest film personalities of the Industry. This interaction will prove to be an experience for the students to cherish. Srijit Mukherji being the chief mentor of the institute it calls for a gala celebration for the institute and the students equally.
The film casts Tota Roycowdhury as ‘FELUDA’, Anirban Chakraborty as ‘Jatayu’, Kalpan Mitra as ‘Topshe’. Srijit Mukherjee, the National-Award winning director, has come up with the series on Feluda, the epic character of Prodosh Chandra Mitra as the famous detective for the years to come. The series will be streamed on the OTT venture, AddaTimes.
The series will have two films – one Chinnomostar Obhisaap, and Jawto Kando Kathmandute. After Pandemic, this thriller film will prove to be a relief from the daily life stress as Feluda accompanied by Lalmohon Ganguly aka Jatayu and Topshe starts the journey of unveiling the mysteries of a tiger and the temple at Hazibagh, Jharkand.
