FFACE unveils the winners of ‘FFACE Anokhi 2019
Ambarnath Bhattacharya, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 20th August 2019 : The first edition of “FFACE Anokhi” presented by David & Goliath and Digitally Powered by Facebook, unveiled the winners of “FFACE Anokhi” Edition 1 at The Park, Kolkata today. After rigorous 3 days of residential boot camp at Zone by The Park, the finale of the pageant saw top ten finalists, sizzling the ramp competing to win the crown. Mrs. India International 2011 and brand ambassador of David & Goliath, Richa Sharma was seen crowning the winner and two runner up. Round 1 had designer Sheetal Pandey with showstopper model actor, Falaque Rashid Roy. Renowned actress Koneenica Banerjee, famous actress Swastika Dutta along with famed model andEx Bigg Boss contestant Dimpy Ganguly were present as the eminent judges. Mr. Neil Roy, Founder-Director of FFACE, Ms. Paromita Ghosh, Strategic Consultant-Director of FFACE, Mr. Indroneel Mukherjee, Fashion Director of FFACE were also present to address the media.
The finalists were all set to win over the title to be “FFACE Anokhi”. The finalists had to face three rounds of the grand finale. The first round was indo western designer collection by Sheetal Pandey and the second was gowns by Roop Rang boutique. The final phase was a question-answer round where contestants had chosen their judges and the distinct verbal skill of the contestants were judged. Among the judges present were Richa Sharma, Swastika Dutta, Koneenica Banerjee, Dimpy Ganguly.
The platform promotes the concept ‘Beauty Has No Shape’. Anokhi challenges body shaming and brings out the true essence of womanhood. With an aim to discover individuals who have a positive approach towards life with special focus on passion and creativity, the pageant witnessed more than 100 women from different walks of life.
FFACE Anokhi 2019 was awarded with a stunning bike by Shiva Wheels Honda. Prominent brands such as Mumuso India, PeeSafe, Vibes, Auli, Millennium Post, Lederland and Iarra Sunglasses presented with various sub-contest titles.
Speaking on this occasion Mr. Neil Roy, Founder-Director of FFACE said, “Anokhi is a platform where we believe that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Every body type and shape is different and has its own balance. One should feel like a beautiful woman from heart, no matter what. The hunt to find the ‘FFACE Anokhi’ for this year finally comes to an end. The journey of Anokhi and the love which we received in its very first edition is beyond overwhelming. I hope the pageant will grow bigger day by day as it is not a competition of the outer beauty; it symbolizes the magnificence of one’s talent and confidence. Ms. Paromita Ghosh, Strategic Consultant-Director of FFACE said, “Even today, women have become conditioned to believing in the unrealistic standards of beauty set by society. Mr. Indroneel Mukherjee, Fashion Director of FFACE said, “Beauty has nothing to do with looks or the shape and size of your body. Everyone has a different body shape, so you kind of have to figure out not only what works best for your body type, but what also makes you feel confident. It’s how you are as person and how you make others feel about yourselves. Your own self is such a treasure. The platform is a stepping stone for all the talented women from across the state to achieve their passion in the world of fashion and entertainment.
