Foundry Park project being implemented by FCDA in association with Utkarsha Bangla

Ambar Bhattacharya, Takmaa, Kolkata, 10th Aug 2021: Foundry Park project being implemented by Foundry Cluster Development Association is an industrial cluster spread over 600 acres to accommodate 150 foundry and allied units attracting investment of Rs 2500 cores and generating direct employment of 10000 people. Mr. Vijay S Beriwal, is the joint chairman with WBIDC MD as chairman.
As part of Foundry Park has announce a Dispensary, Ambulance and carrying stocks of medicines at State Gov. fixed price for the local people at Ranihati. Doctors would also been in attendance.

To maintain ecological balance we are maintaining adequate water bodies and greenery (as per environmental norms) within the project area. Moreover, Foundry Park is having Common Facility Centre and Industrial Training Institute namely Vivekananda Technical Institute named by our Hon., CM Smt. Mamata Banerjee. This CFC and VTI is one of its kinds with custom made courses to skill manpower for Iron & Steel Industry. VTI is part of State Gov.’s UTKARSH BANGLA program for skill development. This VTI will also generate substantial employment for the local youth after training and a unique feature of FCDA courses are that they are also meant for Class 8 dropouts as well as existing employees who want to upgrade their skills.
