Guinness World Record for the largest jute bag with Rakshak Foundation

Ambar Bhattacharya, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 13th Jan 2020 : Chaitali creates new Guinness World Record – Largest Jute Bag in the world, 80ft /100ft at St Thomas School Khiddirpur.The Golden fabric of Bengal  carries the larger than life message – Greener, Healthier, Inclusive World. Chaitali Is popularly known for reviving jute, prison reformation apart from women empowerment & various humanitarian services . The Golden fabric of Bengal reached greater heights. The event is supported & graced by Chief Guest Sri Vinit Kumar Chairman Shayma Prasad Mukherjee port , Sri Moloy Chandan Chakraborty, Jute Commissioner NJB, Sri  Peeyush Pandey, ADG&IG Correctional Services. Vinod Lahoti, j p Agarwalla, Rajender singh, Jaydip Das, Anand Sureka,  Neel Kankani at St Thomas Khidirpur. The team of Artisans include released prison inmates, women & youth from vulnerable section of the society.

Following our vision and ethos of Revival and Reformation, WomenEmpowerment while conserving environment, targeting inclusive growth we undertake various projects and try to make a significant difference to the society and beyond geographical borders.  This World Record for the ‘LARGEST JUTE BAG IN THE WORLD’ will send a larger-than-life message to the world audience, to wake up to the necessity of eco-conservation and embracing sustainable, eco-friendly Jute to create a GREENER, HEALTHIER & INCLUSIVE WORLD for the generations ahead.
Breaking all previous records we have created the new world record of the World’s Largest Jute Bag, by making a Jute Bag of weighing more than a ton. 
This spectacular, historical feat will create a huge world-wide visibility  for Indian Jute & Artisans. It will remain as a testimony of our glorious achievement in the Guinness World Records.
This bag is made by released prison inmates, women and youth from the lower socio economic backgrounds, vulnerable sections of the society.
It is being made in the prestigious school grounds of St. Thomas Schools, Khidderpore, Kolkata, the oldest school in Asia (estd. 1739)
The dimensions of the bag created by us is 30.68 (breadth) x 24.87 (length) x 6.3 (width) meter(s).
