JIS Group helps parents to reduce anxiety on Father’s day

Parents are also going through a lot of tension and uncertainty regarding the future of their wards post cancellation of the board and other important exams. Thus, on Father’s Day 2021, JIS Group took the initiative of reducing tension related to their wards’ future through a panel discussion with notable personalities from the field of education and top corporate leaders of various industries. They have guided their level best, for students to have a smooth educational path towards an assured successful career in the near future.

The eminent panellists were Dr. Debasish Sarkar, Principal of Chandannagar Govt. College, Mr. Debasis Bandyopadhay, Vice-President & Global Head of TCS Flagship programme, Co-Innovation Network, Ms. Devlina Lahiri, Psychologist, Behavioural Trainer & Facilitator for Learning & Development and Mr. Arijit Mitra, Social and Child Rights Worker, Hon’ble Secretary of Ayushman Initiative for Child Rights.

The event was followed by the rebranding of the logo under two colleges of JIS Group. Those colleges are Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM) and Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex (SURTECH). In the end, JIS Group also announced the names of the 20 winners of ‘Papa Kehte Hain Bada Naam Karega’ contest to felicitate the students as an appreciatory gesture. 

One of the first of its kind initiative by JIS Group at the onset of Father’s Day has not only proved to be a useful platform for the students and their families who are under extreme pressure as to how they should go ahead with appropriate subject to study in a world full of uncertainty. Mr. Taranjit Singh, Managing Director of JIS Group added, “This Father’s Day has been extremely eventful for our entire group. Starting from rebranding the logo of two of our institutes to felicitating 20 of our students who have participated in Father’s Day Special contest.
