Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah organized a special carnival for children

News Correspondent, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 23rd Nov 2019 : Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah organized a special carnival for children at NSH Conference Hall today. The carnival was followed by the Inauguration of Patient Waiting Area, in association with Manas Foundation in order to provide a comfort experience to the patients at the hospital. The Interactive Session witnessed the esteemed presence of Dr. Amitabha Chattopadhyay, Consultant Paediatric Cardiology, Dr. Debasis Das, Consultant Cardiac Surgery, Mr. Subhasis Bhattacharya, Facility Director NH Howrah.The carnival was organized especially for children who were treated at Narayana Superspecialty Hospital, Howrah and also for the underprivileged children, who are deprived of happiness. The hospital observed a day that was totally dedicated to the children. The carnival comprised of various activities including draw as you like, crafts making session, puppet show, magic show, sack race and spoon race. It was a delight to watch the kids running around, dancing and having a gala time at the carnival. 

Apart from the kid’s carnival, Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah also inaugurated a Patient Waiting Area to provide comfort to the patients. The waiting area was built in association with Manas Foundation. At NSH, patients come to get treatment from overall eastern India & Neighboring countries for several diseases like Oncology(Cancer), Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho etc.. At times people find it difficult to arrange an accommodation nearby. Their main purpose was to make a waiting area which can accommodate the family member to have comfortable waiting while they find an accommodation along with safety.Mr. Subhasish Bhattacharya, Facility Director, NH Howrah said, “Spending a day with the kids was really touching. It was a pleasure to watch the kids enjoying and we are glad that we were successful in bringing smiles on those little one’s faces.
