Keventer Agro, one of the fastest growing Food & Beverage companies in Eastern India, today marked the World Environment Day announcing their commitment to reduce carbon footprint by 75% by the year 2025.
Taking a decisive step towards a green future, Keventer Agro commissioned eastern India’s largest rooftop solar plant at their Barasat unit in West Bengal recently. The 2.15 MW project is expected to yield 2.835 million units of energy while offsetting 2647 metric tonne carbon emission annually. Spread over Two Lakh square feet (2, 00,173 Sq. Feet), this is eastern India’s largest installation of rooftop solar panel.
