Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 to begin on June 11
Ambar Bhattacharya, Takmaa News, 30th May 2025 : After the grand success of the inaugural edition, the Bengal Pro T20 League Season 2 will commence on June 11 with the men’s competition at the iconic Eden Gardens.
While the men’s league will begin on June 11, the women’s competition will start the next day on June 12 at the JU, Second Campus Ground, Salt Lake.
In the opening match of the men’s league, the joint winners from last season Sobisco Smashers Malda and Murshidabad Kings will face each other at the Eden Gardens from 8pm onwards.
Following the opening day’s match, the men’s league will see double headers being played till June 24. The league matches will conclude on 25th June.
The semifinals will be a double-header affair at the Eden Gardens to be played on June 26th from 1pm and 7pm onwards.
The grand final will be held at the Eden Gardens on June 28 from 7 pm onwards.
In the women’s league, the opening match on June 12 will be a double-header clash with last season’s finalist Murshidabad Kueens taking on Harbour Diamonds in the morning match from 9am onwards while defending champions Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers will face Servotec Siliguri Strikers in the afternoon match from 1:30pm onwards.
The women’s league will see double header matches being played till June 25.
The semifinals will also be a double header affair at the JU, Salt Lake campus on June 27th from 9am and 1:30pm onwards.
The final will be played at the Eden Gardens on June 28 from 1:30pm onwards.
