After a few years the individual becomes progressively bedbound and ultimately die. Neuromyelitis Optica spectrum disorders have similar course of illness but in general more aggressive than MS. “Auto-immune Encephalitis” comprise several immune-based inflammatory disorders of brain. All these above neuro-immunological disorders usually affect individuals in 20-45 years age group when they are in their most productive years of life. These are all disabling diseases with ultimate fatality, if left untreated.
