The institute organised an MDIS Exchange Program- a 6-day long experiential study tour for the students on the 7th of September which included 3 workshops on diverse aspects of Global Business Models and key elements which boost successful business worldwide.
Prof. Abdul Raoof guided the students with his grasp on various aspects of business in different countries around the world and gave his insights into how natural and man-made disasters affect businesses, how resilience leads to rebuilding, restructuring leads to phenomenal growth post setbacks and the impact of political stability on the corporate scene. Other core concepts which saw the light of discussion were marketing plans, holistic marketing, the importance of change and planning for future changes in a proactive rather than in a reactive manner among others.Prof. Raoof gave succinct cases of organizations doing business differently, like Air Asia and Singapore Airlines.
