Beginning of the glamorous Rubaru Mr. and Miss India 2019 from Eastern India
Ambar Bhattacharya, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 20th Nov 2019 : Rubaru is a pan India initiative in association with iGlam that looks forward not only to beauty but also is dedicated in promoting the protection of girl child. The pageant welcomes both women and men who aim to achieve and identify their personal values and strengths. iGlam held their Grand Finale of the First Edition of Mr. and Miss. India in Kolkata at The Golden Tulip today. The occasion witnessed the presence of Ms. Sharbari Dutta, Ace Fashion Designer, Mr. Sandeep Kumar, President and Founder, Rubaru Group,Ms. Ddevjani Mitra,MD I-Glam East India Director Rubaru Group, along with Mr. Burzin Bharucha, Mumbai Socialite, Ms. Parul Sehgal Gulati State Director, Kolkata, Glamour Queen Nazia M Hassan, iGlam, Ms. Sabi Lodhi, State Coordinator, Kolkata, iGlam, Ms. Papree Bhowmik, State Director Asansol and Durgapur and Mr. Sujoy Biswas, CEO of Techno India as Special Guest as well as a Groomer and Jury. Groomer & Jury Ms. Ritu Saluja, Mr. Sujoy Biswas, Mr. Subhadeep Mitra alongwith State Coordinators Ms. Tuhinaa Pandey, Ms. Saba Khan, Mr. Surjit Kaur, Ms. Vinita Suran, Ms. Neha Chopra, Ms. Shail Mishra & Bobby Agarwal were also present at the Grand Kolkata finale.
Rubaru from time to time has always been dedicated to serve the society in some way or the other. This time through Mr. and Miss India, the brand serves to highlight and dedicate itself in the cause ‘Save Girl Child’. Save girl child is one of the most important issues India is facing nowadays. This campaign was started as a concern over the declining sex ratio of the girl child. The problem is not just of a single state but it has become a problem of whole nation. It aims at improving the health of the girls, their safety, education, the abolition of female feticide, personal and professional development etc.
Rubaru Mr. and Miss India is a is a platform which gives an impetus to the fresh budding talent, exposure to a wider audience besides providing them with more opportunities to grow and earn well.It is an effort to bring together the best talents of India and Indian residing overseas on a single platform.
Present on the occasion, Ms. Ddevjani Mitra, Managing Director, i-Glam said, “Rubaru Mr. and Miss India is a platform to bring forward and horn the skills of young budding artists creating the path to recognize their talent. It’s an interesting platform for people to come and see how Rubaru Mr. and Miss India have changed the lives and have been beneficial for the young talent. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the love and support we receive every year from our lovely audiences”.
Mr. Sandeep Kumar, President and Founder, Rubaru Group, further added, “Rubaru Mr. & Miss India organized its flagship auditions every year and it’s the first time we are conducting it in Kolkata. It is always a pleasure to see more youth coming forward and expressing their eagerness towards showcasing their talents and highlighting their strengths”.
This platform received immense love and support from the audiences and over 60 contestants participated in the Kolkata auditions. Rubaru Mr. and Miss India selected a total of number of 4 contestants each from Kolkata who was given the title of Iglam Rubaru Miss India Face of West Bengal 1st Runner up , Iglam Rubaru Miss India Face of West Bengal 2nd Runner up, I glam Miss West Bengal and Iglam Mr West Bengal .
Rubaru Mr. India will be hosting their final round of auditions in Mumbai in April 2020 and Miss India finale will be held in Delhi in March 2020.
