Lighting Up The Christmas Spirit With CC & FC
News Correspondent, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 11th Dec 2019 : From Yule’s log to the modern-day Led light, lights have been an integral part of Christmas celebration. Can you even imagine December or Christmas without the twinkling lights which reflect the festive joy in the best way possible?
One of the oldest clubs in the country CC&FC follows this beautiful tradition of lighting up the club to bring in the Christmas cheer every year. Kolkata has always been one of the foremost cities in India which celebrates Christmas spirit with vigour and CC&FC being one of the prominent clubs of Kolkata, since the British era has been lighting up the Christmas lights with a wonderful celebration.
An event that began as a tradition of the tea planters and old Calcuttans (the then members of CC&FC) is still celebrated with much grandeur.
