Acropolis Mall introduced precautionary measures to contain deadly Novel Corona virus
News Correspondent, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 22nd Mar 2020 : In the wake of the outbreak of worldwide pandemic Novel Corona Virus in India, Acropolis Mall, India’s leading mall, has been taking a series of precautionary measures to keep the deadly virus from spreading. As a responsible corporate, it is the responsibility of Acropolis mall to adhere to all such guidelines issued by the State Administration to prevent such infection. India is currently at the second stage of corona virus outbreak. We are keeping constant vigil on all precautionary measures round the clock. Following measures are being taken at the mall since the outbreak of the pandemic.
a) Acropolis is the first mall to start using IR Temperature Gun in the Mall from last Sunday, 15th March, 2020. b) We have installed thermal screening at our entry points where guests are allowed to enter the Mall after measuring their body temperature. c) We from Acropolis Mall have also kept sanitizer at all entry gates where Guests are allowed to enter after disinfecting their hands. d) We have increased the frequency of Sanitization process of Common facilities like Rest Rooms, Lifts & Escalators, Steel Railings, etc. to contain the spread of Corona Virus. e) We have provided adequate quantity of liquid hand-wash in rest rooms. g) We have installed High Speed hand dryers in restrooms. h) We have made compulsory the use of face masks for Team Security and Housekeeping Staff. i) We have made the use of hand gloves mandatory for Food Court Cashiers. j) We have deployed assistants at Ticket Vending Machines, to avoid guests touching on it. k) We have strictly instructed all shops to keep hand sanitizers at their cash counters.
