Keventer Agro Pledges To Reduce Carbon Footprint By 75% In Next Five Years in this Environment Day

While the medical experts are still in search of a vaccine for Covid-19, the world is talking about the importance of adopting environment friendly measures to avoid a repeat of such a pandemic in the future. Keventer Agro, one of the fastest growing Food & Beverage companies in Eastern India, today marked the World Environment Day announcing their commitment to reduce carbon footprint by 75% by the year 2025.
Taking a decisive step towards a green future, Keventer Agro commissioned eastern India’s largest rooftop solar plant at their Barasat unit in West Bengal recently. The 2.15 MW project is expected to yield 2.835 million units of energy while offsetting 2647 metric tonne carbon emission annually. Spread over Two Lakh square feet (2, 00,173 Sq. Feet), this is eastern India’s largest installation of rooftop solar panel.
