Hernan Crespo and former India rugby player and Bollywood star Rahul Bose set off to test pasta cookout contest
Ambar Bhattacharya, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 14th Dec 2019 : A day before the city wakes up at dawn and lines up on Red Road for the sixth edition of TSK 25K that charts a brand new route this time onwards, it was fun and fiesta as International Brand Ambassador Hernan Crespo and former India rugby player and Bollywood star Rahul Bose set off to test their skills in a pasta cookout contest at The Oberoi Grand with the presence of Chanakya Chaudhury (Tata Steel, VP Corporate Service).
The contest, ritual during TSK 25K promoted by Procam International, saw five teams fight it out for the honours.
Team 1. Sharmistha Gooptu (Author) and Submit Joshi(GM, Grand Oberoi). Theme- Edamame Spaghetti.
Team 2. Hernan Crespo (IEA) and Chanakya Chaudhury (Tata Steel, VP, Corporate Services) Theme- Edameme and Mung Bean Fettuccini
Team 3. Aradhana Buragohain (Actor and Model for AIFO) and Jitendra Bhargava (Air India)- Theme- Buck wheat fusilli
Team 4. Rahul Bose (Actor) and Rajeev Kumar (Tata Steel VP) Theme- Black bean Spaghetti
Team 5. Vineet Agarwal (T10 CEO) and Anubhav Karmakar (Fast & Up Athlete. Theme- Quinoa Fusilli
At the end of it all, that saw some fierce cutlery handling and undivided handling of pasta, the team with the theme Quins Fusilli won with 15 points. But they barely beat the team of Hernan Crespo that cooked Edameme and Mung Bean Fettuccini by just one point.
The team of Hernan Crespo cooked Edameme and Mung Bean Fettuccini and the team of Rahul Bose cooked Black Bean Spaghetti.But at the end of it all, it was buon appetito!! Publicity : Carpediem Communique.
