Selfless efforts are being taken by the state government to take care of everything, starting from the distribution of food to the needy to providing expert health care facilities to the people in the state. Dubai based Aries Group of Companies extended many aids to help the government reduce its efforts. Aries Group CEO, Dr. Sohan Roy had announced to provide 10 ventilators to 10 districts immediately after the lockdown. As promised, two out of the ten ventilators have been delivered by the group, and Dr. Roy is taking selfless efforts to deliver the rest of the ventilators with immediate effect. He has also requested other companies to do their part by providing whatever little they can do.
His other announcement was “Support a Family” drive to support 2000 needy families, where he had asked each of the company’s employees to try and support one poor family and take up their responsibility during this crisis period. This campaign was launched considering the hardships daily wagers have to endure during this lockdown period. Dr. Roy’s 9000sq.ft house at Desamangalam, Kerala, was also set aside for getting it converted to isolation wards by the state. As a part of the Group’s Social Commitment Scheme, Aries distributed masks to Kerala Police to keep them safe during the COVID emergency. Apart from delivering 1000 masks, the group has also promised to provide monetary back up to fund the in house masks made by the battalion. Recently, Idukki M.P Dean Kuriakkose inaugurated the Aries Family Help Scheme under which the group provided around 1800 needy families with food through the public kitchen.
