Soak in the Christmas Cheer with Hong Kong’s Winterfest

News Correspondent, abptakmaa, Kolkata, 26th Dec 2020 : For 50 years, Harbour City’s Christmas display at Ocean Terminal main entrance has been one of Hong Kong’s must-see attractions. People have come in droves to take photographs and soak up the unique festive atmosphere. Since we experienced several waves of the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s Christmas theme of Harbour City is “Christmas Every Day” featuring a unique “Charity Christmas Bear”, which aims to bring joy and spread love this festive season.

Under the unusual circumstances, Harbour City has also prepared a series of online activities to celebrate the holiday with everyone in HK and overseas. Apart from the 4 festive check points, including a “Beary Christmas Shop” & “Christmas Lighting Garden” throughout Ocean Terminal, which were opened earlier, Harbour City has invited Dutch artist Eva Cremers to design 2 more decorations inside the mall this year.

Hong kong has prepared a Virtual Tour & Check-in around the decorations and online Santa Meet & Greet at Harbour City. Meanwhile, even if you cannot visit Hongkong, you can still take some snaps at our Best 12 Christmas Photo Hotspots. Choose whatever site photos you like, and you can paste your selfies with your loved ones onto the photos. Share them on social media just like you came in person! Besides doing it on-site, kids can also create their own “Monsters” at home, by redesigning their costumes, and they will be able to see them alive on the screen in 3D, interacting with those created by other kids. While it is getting closer to Christmas, your dream of meeting Santa once in a year will come true! (Game site: http://hcxmas2020.com/painter/)

This beautifully festive and romantic setting is open to the public till 3 January 2021 upon reservation and on a first come first served basis. Each session lasts for 20 minutes from 5:30pm to 10:00pm.
