Newtown Sarbojanin inaugurates Banner and Brochure for Upcoming Durgotsav
Ambar Bhattacharya, Takmaa News, Kolkata, 24th May 2023 : The Banner and Brochure Launch Programme of New Town Durgotsav Samiti was held on 20/5 at New Town Business Club with the presence of the famous actor Abir Chatterjee, Founder, CEO & MD of Bandhan Bank Chandra Sekhar Ghosh, and MD, HIDCO Debashis Sen. The programme started with the flute rendition by the famous flute artist Anirban Roy. About more than 200 volunteers were present on the occasion. The Banner and Brochure was launched in the Green Verge Auditorium of the Club. The organisers of the Puja Committee declared that the KhutiPujo will take place on 15th July at City Square Ground. Moreover, they have many other programmes also to be held before Puja like Theme Music Launch Programme, Independence Day cum Health Check -up program etc.
Like last year, this time also GLS & Keo Karpin have agreed to be with the Samiti. The idol maker Anirban Das has named this year’s Puja as Komal Gandhar, relating Ragas with Devi Durga. This year also the puja will be performed by five women priests and women Dhakis. Both women priests and women dhakis were present on the occasion.
