Replacement of Krishna Kishor Mukhopadhyay by Rahul Barman in ‘Hoytoh Tomari Jonno’ Mon-Sat at 07:30pm Only On Aakash Aath
Ambar Bhattacharya, Takmaa, Kolkata, 22nd May 2021 : Due to some medical reasons, Krishna Kishor Mukhopadhyay being casted as Heroine, Sampurna Mandal’s father in theromantic mega serial ‘HoytohTomariJonno will not portray this onscreen role anymore. For this unavoidable circumstances, Rahul Barman is essaying the character of Tathagato Banerjeee .

‘Hoyto Tomari Jonno’ weaves a love story between Aditya Narayan Lahiri (Jeetu Kamal) & Janhabi Banerjee (Sampurnaa Mandal). Aditya alias Adi is a popular lawyer and his father Shib Narayan Lahiri (Biplab Dasgupta) is a Judge, his brother Indra Narayan Lahiri (Palash Ganguly) is also a lawyer, his mother Sutanuka Lahiri (Chaiti Ghoshal) is a social worker & sister-in-law, Swati (Sayantani Sengupta) is a working woman. Janhabi, who is also known as Joyee, comes from a middle-class background and stays with her mother Anupama (Chumki Chowdhury), who is a nurse, & two sisters Sumi (Shilpa) & Ruhi (Somasree). Joyee has a troubled past as their father 20 years ago disowned his wife and children for his wish to have a boy to take forward his lineage. Joyee who works as an intern lawyer under Babhotosh Lahiri (Bodhiswatta Mazumder) aspires to teach her father a lesson. In the meantime, Adi meets Joyee during a trial of a case in the court and Joyee wins the case on behalf of Bhabotosh Lahiri. Despite various adversities, their love blossoms and that forms the crux of the story.
